My name is Maryam Qudus - I am a freelance recording engineer / producer / mixer based out of California. I also write, record and produce music for my solo project Spacemoth and play keys in La Luz.
 
As a producer / engineer, I have worked with

Toro y Moi, Tune-Yards, Sad13, Thao & The Getdown Staydown, Alanis Morissette, Spellling, SASAMI, Kronos Quartet and many more artists.

 

I have worked on albums and singles that have been released on 4AD, Subpop, ANTI, Domino Records, Luakabop, Carpark Records and more.

While studio recording is my primary focus, I have also composed and recorded soundtracks for films, engineered / produced radio podcasts and taught audio engineering at Women’s Audio Mission.
