My name is Maryam Qudus - I am a freelance recording engineer / producer / mixer based out of California. I also write, record and produce music for my solo project Spacemoth and play keys in La Luz.
 
As a producer / engineer, I have worked on records by Toro y Moi, SASAMI, Tune-Yards, Taylor Swift, Alanis Morissette, Spellling, La Luz, Kronos Quartet and many more artists.

 

I have worked on albums and singles that have been released on 4AD, Subpop, Republic Records, ANTI, Domino Records, Dead Oceans, Luakabop, Carpark Records and more.

While studio recording is my primary focus, I have also composed and recorded soundtracks for films, engineered / produced radio podcasts and taught audio engineering at Women’s Audio Mission.
